Some Highlights
In April 2009, Olympic athletes Lyne Tremblay (Archery) and Sandra Lisée (Swimming) accompanied by Mme Estelle Lapointe
of the RBC Foundation met with the children of the After-School Program. The two athletes spoke about their passion for sports
and the importance of recreational activities in keeping healthy and fit.
Future Shop supports BGCC's "Future Shop Future Leaders - Scholarships" program as a signature element of its contributions
to BGCC in helping our youth to become tomorrow's leaders.
Telus representatives presented the Boys and Girls Club of LaSalle with a donation of $50,000 to assist our
After-School programs and to study the factors contributing to youth dropping out of school.
